TigJez is the alias of musician Oskaar Dewallef, a 22-year-old darkwave and post-punk artist from Tongeren, Belgium. Emerging in 2023, TigJez quickly established himself with a series of emotionally charged releases that blend darkwave, coldwave, electronics, and gothic post-punk into a haunting sound.

 

Entirely self-produced, TigJez writes, records, mixes, and masters his own work, ensuring a deeply personal and authentic signature. His baritone vocals, reminiscent of classic gothic icons yet unmistakably his own, cut through layers of icy synths, sharp guitars, and heavy basslines. Lyrically his songs confront trauma, heartbreak, isolation, and existential struggle—themes that resonate strongly with a generation seeking truth in emotional intensity.

 

Since his debut EP Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (2023), TigJez has released a steady stream of singles and EPs, including Corrupt (2024), faire mourir (2024), and Crosses On The Ceiling (2025). His latest single, Whispers From Above (2025), features a music video that further deepens his exploration of rural, emotional and edgy imagery. Watch here
